- Self Tapping Concrete Screws are quick to install and fully removable. Countersunk head when a discrete or flush finish is desired. Ideal for light to medium duty applications into concrete, solid masonry, brick, block and stone
- Features / Benefits: The Gimlet point provides excellent bite into wood base materials, with no pre-drilling required. You will need to pre-drill a pilot hole into concrete, solid masonry, brick, block and stone. The anchor can be used in close spacing and edge distance applications
- Material / Coating: Ruspert R1000 Coating - 1000 hour salt spray rated. Superior to galvanising, it is a 3 layered high performance surface coating. It is incredibly hard and is perfect for thread cutting fasteners as normal galvanising simply peels or wears off during installation as the threads bite into the abrasive masonry. It's also completely resistant to acid and alkaline attack as well as galvanic corrosion, this means you can safely use them anywhere with any timber (treated or not) and any other metal or surface coated product with no cross contamination corrosion issues
- Fastener length: is generally measured from the point where the surface of the material will be when the fastener is installed to the end of the fastener. Thus, fasteners with heads that sit above the surface are measured from under the head to the end of the fastener, while fasteners that sit flush with the surface are measured from the top of the head to the end of the fastener
