Description

Screw Anchors are an universal fixing designed for use in all types of base material including concrete, stone, brick, plasterboard and timber. No pre-drilling or plug required in most materials.
Features / Benefits: Light duty fixing application such as signs, shelf brackets and lighting and electrical fixtures. No pre-drilling required when screwing into wallboard or wood (check data sheet for additional information). When removed they leave a much smaller hole than toggles or other systems. Thread design prevents spinning and stripping

Material / Coating: Chrome, short for chromium, refers to the plating. Chrome plating is overlaid on a metal core. It consists completely of chromium and is not an alloy. Chrome is typically polished and very shiny, although the satin and brushed varieties can be more matte. It’s used in both decorative and industrial purposes because it is corrosion-resistant and has a high level of lustre. It’s also a very light metal. The difference between chrome and stainless steel is in their makeup. Stainless steel is a metal alloy without plating, containing nickel and at least 10.5% chromium to make it more durableFastener length: is generally measured from the point where the surface of the material will be when the fastener is installed to the end of the fastener. Thus, fasteners with heads that sit above the surface are measured from under the head to the end of the fastener, while fasteners that sit flush with the surface are measured from the top of the head to the end of the fastener
