Aside from the fact the drill bits in this kit are brilliant, the METAL CASE 85 piece Metric set is popular because of the range of sizes and the up to 5* drills per size (refer to technical specification tab for the size range and qty's). Good set for the workshop where you are always using drill bits. The case is made of metal, it is well made and each size has an individual slot for easier identification
- Features / Benefits: This kit contains a range of Alpha Gold Series HSS drill bits. Titanium Nitride coating reduces heat and increases lubricity extending the drill life. 135° split point allows faster drilling and minimises wandering. Fully ground M2 HSS increases durability
- Ideal for: Ideal for the widest range of materials: Steel, wood, plastic and stainless steel* (if drilling alot of Stainless we recommend either Colbalt or INOX drill bits, available on our site)
- Warnings: Sharp handle with care. Always wear safety googles. Use correct speed for diameter and material type
- Cutting Fluid: When drilling into ferrous metals we recommend the use of a cutting fluid or compound to aid in the efficiency of the drill and to prolong its working life. We recommend Alpha CDT cutting fluid (Code ATL005)
