Barrel Nut

Bolt and Nut Australia carry the largest range of barrel nuts (also known as furniture nuts, JCB nuts, connector nuts or barrel nuts) in stock, delivered freight free with no minimum spend or order quantity. Barrel nuts are commonly used among the furniture industry, the head of the nut resembles a low profile flange with a protruding boss that is internally threaded. The boss (connector nut) sits within the two joining pieces. A popular choice when matched with a connector bolt as the head on both sides of the join sit almost flush with the surface. Commonly found in flatpak furniture like beds, drawers etc they have become increasingly popular in a lot of other applications where an aesthetically pleasing look is required. We carry M6 and M8 in a metric coarse thread and are steel nickel plated. Technical specifications, printable datasheets and product cad drawings are available online for this product.
