Bolt and Nut Australia has the largest range of Hex flange serrated nuts in stock, delivered freight free from our Brisbane warehouse with no minimum spend or order quantity. Flange nuts have a wide flange that acts as a fixed, integrated washer, which helps distribute the pressure of the nut over the part being secured. The serrated surface on the underside of the flange provides a locking mechanism by angling into the substrate to keep the nut from rotating in the loosening direction. Flange nuts also save time and money by removing the need for a washer to be added to each fastener assembly during installation. We carry high tensile class 8.8 zinc plated, zinc yellow and galvanised and stainless steel A2-70 G304 and marine grade stainless steel A4-70 G316. Our range is M4, M5, M6, M8, M10, M12, M16 and M20 in Metric Coarse and M10 and M12 Metric Fine and #8-32, #10-24, 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4" UNC (unified national coarse) threads.
