Shear nuts have a hexagon part which shears off at a predetermined torque. Premium 1-way permanent security solution ideal where maintenance is not required. Designed to prevent unauthorised tampering or removal of equipment or facilities, Shear nuts are typically used in public areas (schools, hospitals etc) and within the fencing industry. Can also be used anywhere where a permanent fixing is needed. We carry Stainless steel A2-70 G304 and Mild steel galvanised shear nuts in M6, M8, M10, M12 and M16 in metric coarse threads.
