A tee nut digs into the surface to ensure retention and leaves the nut flush with the surface, and are commonly used in furniture to provide an internally threaded surface for fasteners. Available in both Stainless steel A2-70 G304 and Mild steel class 4.6 Zinc plated the range consists of M4, M5, M6, M8 and M10 in Metric coarse thread and #10-24, 3/16", 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8" UNC (unified national coarse) and BSW (british standard whitworth) threads.
